Irene just got back from another dope Springcoming; and Shells participated in the March for Science in Chicago this weekend.

No #WYR, but this week’s word of the day is “perfidious”… #elevateyourwordgame.

Obama makes his first formal appearance since leaving the Oval, without a tie; United Airlines can’t handle leggings, overbooked flights or giant bunnies; a California judge has overruled 45’s planned penalty for sanctuary cities; Beyoncé has announced a scholarship fund; And then we spend some time talking about the recent backlash toward Shea Moisture regarding their diversity ad.

Finally, we wrap up the show with a throwback song with all the feels in Irene’s Beats, and an Eye Spy Inspiration about having vision and letting it be your guide.

All Around Melo-Drama

What’s up, Giggle Gang! We are less than 20 days away from FSGLive…and it’s official, both your hosts will be in the flesh! 🙂 Get your tickets, book your flights, get your life… you still have time!

We get caught up on Shells’ random acts of kindness (an apparent trustworthy presence) for the week; and Irene’s Easter weekend activities and the highlight of her week: The new Whole Foods.  Shout out to @HBCUSpringcoming for the festivities this weekend. We’re so proud of Lauren & George!

Would You Rather (#FSGWYR) started out as a question of what your lesser fear is… and then quickly morphed into a conversation about Survivor. (typical FSG sh*t, shrugs).

Then we get into some water cooler conversation about Agent Orange’s crazy ass, the Easter Day murder of Mr. Godwin and the debate about mental illness; former NFL football player Alex Hernandez reportedly committed suicide and reactions to the news are conflicted; Serena Williams is adding motherhood to her resume; and we talk about the news that LaLa and Carmelo Anthony are getting divorce; and then theres Tyrese’s crazy comments about “aggressively promiscuous women”.

Finally, we wrap up the show with new music from Kendrick Lamar in Irene’s Beats and Shells’  Eye Spy Inspiration about being a blessing to others.

It’s a new week, Giggle Gang!!! We’re gonna keep the description short and let y’all enjoy the show! After Irene and Shells get past their behind the scenes shenanigans (caused by Shelley, of course) we get into pretty interesting conversations about Janet Jackson and her divorce settlement, and the ridiculousness that is the literal dragging of a paid customer from a United Airlines flight. Pepsi Challenge

**In perfect harmony**  Do you know what today is??? It’s our anniversary! 2 years of FSGeeeee!

Giggle Gang, you’ve been riding with us for TWO YEARS and we thank you! We hope that you’ve heard our growth and that you are as excited about what’s to come as we are!

No #WYR thus week, but Shells is sharing a new vocabulary word. Take out your pens everyone. Then we get to our Water Cooler Notes because there’s plenty to talk about. We discuss Romo retiring, water safety as summer pools begin to open, Black television is still super LIT, the increasing number of brick and mortar retailers that are going under, an Ivy League bound Rockaway teen, and then we share our reactions to the Pepsi “social awareness” (or lack thereof) ad starring Kendall Jenner.

We wrap up the show with some young Usher and an eye spy inspiration about closing old doors to make way for new ones.

Giggle Gang, what’s poppin’?! It’s a new week and a new episode.

While Irene has been balancing recovery and reality from her Spring Break, Shells has been road tripping with her crew to Myrtle Beach for some Spring Breakin’ of her own!
