Modern Media – Truth or Fiction

**Quick Note: This week’s episode was recorded the day before the world lost the musical legend, Prince. We’ll be sure share our thoughts during next week’s episode. Our thoughts and prayers go our to his family, friends, and fans around the world.**

Hey good people!!!

We’ve both been basking in the beautiful glow of love as we celebrated the marriages (and engagements) of some of our dearest friends.

This week’s water cooler chatter included the awesome hair equality movement led by Shea Moisture, the growing presidential campaigns of Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, the new BLACK face that will be on the new 20 dollar bill, and then… there’s  a word on (pre-Lemonade debut) Beyonce’ and Ivy Park.

What’s more important to you: looking strong to others or actually being strong? That’s this week’s would you rather question. Let us know what you think! @FSGPodcast #FSGWYR

And speaking of perception… given recent documentary series such like Confirmation (the Anita Hill Story) and ACS: The People vs OJ, we had to discuss how the media shapes, manipulates, and influences the perception of the general public in high profile cases and ideology, in general.

Finally, we wrap up this week with a little “Pillow Talk” in Irene’s Beats and an Eye Spy inspirational reminder that “dreaming” alone is not enough.

That’s it for now, but we’ll be back next week!  Listen. Laugh. Share.
