Yoga’s Witchcraft?

It’s a new week and a new episode of FSG. Welcome!

Shells is trying to find more “stillness and mindfulness” in her daily routine and got a preview of life as a Kindergartner’s mom. Meanwhile, from the White House to the gun range to Rihanna’s concert, last week was sort of the warm up to Irene’s annual Season of Epic Experiences (aka: Spring & Summer). She explains.

When it comes to fame or fortune, which would you rather? Let us know… @FSGPodcast #FSGWYR. In this episode, we decided to hang out around the water cooler for a while. We acknowledge the terror attacks in Brussels and the passing of a Hip-hop pioneer, A Tribe Called Quest’s Phife Dawg; Cruz / Trump got twitter beef (Yes, this is the “best” of the GOP); the most recent Doodle for Google winner proves, yet again, that #BlackGirlsRock, and we debate Justin Bieber’s decision to cancel Meet & Greets and the backlash from parents of students at a GA school that incorporated yoga as a stress relief activity…and by “debate”, we mean totally disagree.

Given the recent loss to the Hip-hop community with the passing of Phife Dawg, Irene honors his memory and contribution to music with a classic Tribe joint in her Beats this week. Then we wrap it up with a quote plucked from Oprah’s Super Soul Sunday conversation that focuses on keeping things in perspective and finding the best in yourself, no matter what.

That’s it for us for now! Until next week, continue to listen, laugh, and share the good FSG word! We love ya’ll!
