Girl Scout Cookies Are Gifts

We’re back and we missed ya’ll more than a little bit. Shells finally ended a tense relationship with a family of squirrels, and Irene conquered her taxes and offers a friendly gym etiquette PSA.

Around the water cooler, we acknowledge Trump’s bizarre and consistent primary winning streak, the “mystery” surrounding Marshawn Lynch’s “retirement”, Shells shares her enjoyment of a variety of quality television (emphasis on variety) and Irene gives her review of The Life of Pablo (Y’all knew it was coming). We round out the notes around the water cooler with the awesomeness that is Girl Scout Cookie season! *yummy*

Our Would You Rather answers go exactly like you’d expect, with the addition of an unexpected pet peeve of Shells’. But back to the segment, would you rather sing every word you speak or always speak in rhymes? Hit us on Twitter, IG,and Facebook or on our talk back line at 202-780-5FSG! @FSGPodcast #FSGWYR

Then we reflect on some of the major public statements supporting the present day Civil Rights/Social Justice/Black Lives Matter Movement. These voices included Beyonce, Kendrick Lamar, and recently Mark Zuckerberg. In our opinion, this has been one of the best, blackest, and loudest Black History Month’s we can recall.

It should come as no surprise that a record from Kanye’s new project is in Irene’s Beats this week. And in the spirit of Black History Month, Shells’ eye spy inspiration is a poem honoring black women.

That’s it for this week. Remember, we love hearing from you, so hit us on social media (Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook) or on our talk back line (202-780-5FSG).

We’ll see you next week… until then, Listen – Laugh – Share!
